The New Balance BB550 was first launched in 1989 as an arch support for people with foot disabilities or those who work for long periods of time. A reinterpretation of vintage basketball shoes, the upper is made of natural cowhide, which is soft to the touch and naturally wrinkled the more you wear it, and the midsole is made of lightweight and elastic EVA material. In addition, the graphic used in 1989 is reproduced on the big-size tongue label, which is difficult to see now, and it is characterized by emphasizing the retro mood.
